Dr. Cathy Gurman and Dr. Jett Gurman are graduates of Life University (formerly Life Chiropractic College, Atlanta) where they met and earned their Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degrees. Since then, they have maintained a large family-based health care practice centrally located in Bergen County, in Westwood, New Jersey. They are active members of the Westwood Chamber of Commerce. Both are active members in the Westwood UNICO ( Italian/American service origination). They have been the official chiropractors for Paragon Gymnastics and Dr. Jett Gurman has been the official chiropractor for the Westwood Volunteer Fire Department since 2000. In addition to directing their practice they also give back to the profession as chiropractic coaches and mentors for others in the profession through the nationally known organization, “TLC Coaching ” ( Team, Leadership, Conditioning) organization.
Both doctors are nationally recognized and sought after speakers, presenters, and lecturers. In addition, Dr. Cathy Gurman was honored with, and is the recipient of, the “2018 TLC Coach of the Year” award for her outstanding work helping other Doctors of Chiropractic and their teams improve the quality of their patient care and outcomes.

Screenings, Examinations, and Reports
With years of health care experience, Drs. Gurman and their highly trained team of Chiropractic Assistants provide care like no one else.
The first step is to call and schedule your “health screening” visit. Appointments are available to fit the busiest schedules. This screening will determine if you may or may not be a candidate for chiropractic. If you are, then a private consultation to review your health history along with a comprehensive examination and if necessary, spinal x-rays may be performed. All services are provided in the Westwood office. At the conclusion, you will schedule your next visit for your report of findings. This a special time is set to review your findings and care options. You and your spouse (or significant other) will have a group and then private consultation to discuss your specific needs, care plan, and have your questions answered regarding appointment times, frequency, insurance participation and fees, and you will start receiving your care.
Additionally, unlike other facilities, patients at WFC have the added benefit of both Drs. Gurman reviewing your records to develop the best specific and individualized care plan that’s right for you and your needs. The doctors also understand the importance of patient education to help patients engage in self-care so that you can hopefully, heal quickly and never be in that situation again.
